  Terrible experience, terrible customer service, definitely not the easiest option for travel insurance. Purchased insurance via Jetstar booking, error occurred and my credit card was deducted however I was not issued a policy. Contacted AIG by phone, was told to email them. Emailed AIG proof of the purchase clearly showing the amount was deducted by AIG. Email went ignored for days. Emailed again asking for a response. Called again asking to be responded to and was told they could see my email (adding insult to injury). When they finally responded to my email they denied that I had even made the purchase, despite the fact that I had emailed them indisputable proof of the purchase in my original email.
  
  I had to write a very sternly worded final email reiterating and reattaching the proof of purchase, and literally "demanding" a refund and threatening to make a complaint. This was immediately responded to with notice that I would be refunded. All of the information required to refund my purchase was in the original email but they flatly ignored and denied me until I became stern and threatened to make a complaint. Do not deal with this company! I have never had a worse customer service experience.
  
  I only wish it was possible to rate them zero stars.
